Sid is standing on a dock. Facing a large ship that resembles a lava lamp.The ocean sprawls out before him in every direction. Two strands twirl and circle around each other inside, they tessellate and dance into many different designs and colors. The space cadets enter the ship. Outside spectators watch as the crew walk up the spiraled staircase into the cockpit. The ship is transparent, so you can see everything going on inside. Slowly they take off into the sky, and then arch and fall into the water. They travel deep under the ocean, and suddenly come out and shoot back into the sky, except in a completely different place. It's dark, and foggy. They touch down in a thick forest. The ship opens up. Sid and his team fall out into a thick purple sludge. They get up and look around, they are surrounded by trees. The purple sludge seems to be a river leading up to a faint light. On the edge of the river are large, glowing honeycombs in a dark shade of purple. They climb up onto the combs and follow them up the river, to the light. They enter a small opening in the trees that the light is radiating out of. They find themselves standing in front of a small diner aging back to the 1950's. It's obvious by the broken and rusted jukebox laying out front, and the tall men in business wear, organizing their briefcases at the booth next to the window.They walk in and look for the owner. " What is this place?" Sid asks. " Why this is the best bird honey diner on this side of the constellations my friend." The man says. He has a long beard, and heavy grey bags under his eyes. Carrying all the weight and woes of his life inside them. Sid awakes. Glances around for a minute. Then continues. He finds himself outside the Diner yet again. He walks in and asks " What is this place?" The man walks out. " Do you not remember the conversation we had yesterday friend?" Sid is thrown off by this. He was just here five minutes ago. He never even left in the first place. He looks around the diner with a puzzled look on his face. His fellow space cadets are nowhere to be found.
